Our beloved son and brother, Adam Lupicki, passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2024 at the age of 28. As we grapple to comprehend the circumstances surrounding his untimely death, we find solace in the countless joyful memories and laughter-filled moments he left us. We are nothing less than proud of his determination and in awe of the love that he continuously demonstrated for his friends and family.
Born on February 4, 1995, in Staten Island, NY, Adam grew up in Westfield, NJ. A proud graduate of Westfield High School in 2013, he distinguished himself as a valuable member of the school's Track & Field team. His academic journey led him to Georgetown University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2017 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Economics. Notably, he received the Miljevic Chemistry Award for academic excellence in the Department of Chemistry, boasting the best record in his senior class.
Adam, a fourth-year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, exhibited an immeasurable presence in his medical education community. With unwavering dedication, kindness, and a genuine commitment to patient care, he shone as a promising future physician.
A gentle giant with a heart as expansive as his stature, Adam stood as a pillar of support and shaping force in our lives. Whether celebrating birthdays, holidays, weddings, or anniversaries, he infused each occasion with a uniquely goofy and endearing energy. His joy in bestowing quirky and thoughtful gifts brought laughter to every gathering. Whether on the ski slopes, engrossed in board games, or simply sharing quality time with family and friends, Adam's love for life radiated. He leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were privileged to know him.
Survived by his loving parents, Lucyna and Marek, his brothers, Kamil and Thomas, Adam is also mourned by his paternal grandparents, Emilia and Zbigniew, and his maternal grandparents, Stanislawa and Stanislaw. He leaves behind his girlfriend, Kelsie, his best friend, Eric, uncles, aunts, cousins, and numerous cherished friends.
Visitation will take place at Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave, Fanwood, NJ on Sunday, January 7th from 2 PM to 5 PM
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 315 1st St, Westfield, NJ on Monday, January 8th at 10:30 AM.
