Adam Edison Wyndham, 25, a native of Spartanburg, SC born to Teresa “Terri” Mullins Wyndham and the late Johnnie “John” Nabor Wyndham, Jr., went to his eternal home with the Lord, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 1, 2024. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Carol Jane Mullins (Mama Jane), Jimmie and Pat (Grammie) Lawson and his great grandmother, Dorothy Fortune (Grandma Dot). He was predeceased by his late grandfather, Elbert “Buddy” Durant Mullins (Papa). His paternal grandparents were the late Johnnie Nabor Wyndham, Sr. (Pa Wyndham) and the late Lenora Crawford Wyndham (Mimi). Adam is survived by his aunts and uncles, Michael and Tammy Mullins, Travis and Jessica Mullins, and Ethan Mullins of Moore, Bill and Vivian Martin, Mark and Allison Wyndham of Fort Mill, and Kenneth and Angie Wyndham, of Anderson. He is also survived by several cousins
Adam was a graduate of Dorman High School where he was exceptionally gifted in mathematics and the sciences. He had a particular passion for creating and designing 3-D mathematical models, and he took joy in sharing his discovery with others. His creativity in this area was truly remarkable! He was a very talented computer science programmer.
Adam enjoyed bowling, he loved the beach and swimming, drawing, and playing keyboard, singing his original songs and learning to play by ear, a gift from God. He also excelled in Aikido from the age of four. Additionally, he had a great sense of humor, he was kindhearted and witty. Anyone who spent time with him would know how much he enjoyed making those around him laugh by telling them jokes. He also loved animals, truly all forms of life.
More than ANYTHING, Adam LOVED GOD! He always had his bible. Adam loved to worship his Jesus and took great joy in dancing before the Lord. Also, he was very active volunteering with his church family at Church Builders Tabernacle and, above all, he was very passionate about serving the Lord by serving others. He graciously supported the homeless, absolutely anyone in need, the less fortunate, and never met a stranger. He was impassioned about spreading the gospel and a loving word to anyone who would listen. His favorite conversation starter was, “What are your thoughts about God?”
Adam merely wanted all to know our Lord and Savior and to have a personal relationship with Jesus. He was full of love for everyone, young and old, alike, without regard to social status...simply a kind human being with a beautiful, loving heart. He was a gift to his family and friends and a blessing to everyone he met. He was an amazing young man, a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, a friend, and a Brother in Christ.
A celebration of Adam’s life will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 2:00pm, officiated by Pastor James "Jim" Rutledge, at Church Builders Tabernacle, 127 Fremont Avenue, Spartanburg, SC. We invite you to stay after the services to hear some of Adam's favorite praise and worship songs.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Adam, please consider contributions to Church Builders Tabernacle Food Ministry.
Adam will be sorely missed. However, he touched the lives of so many and we take comfort that his spirit lives on. Our earthly loss is heavenly gain. “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21
A direct quote from Adam on September 19, 2024...“Live well unto God and God does the rest. We rely on Him fully. Amen.”
