Jo Ann also enjoyed Saturday afternoons in the fall watching college football and cheering on her favorite teams.

Jo Ann is survived by her son, Dennis Gowan (Susan) of Spartanburg, and her cherished grandchildren Allison Baucom (Joe) and Nathan Gowan (Jordan).

She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Ellie, Sawyer, Margot, Bo and Rosamund. Jo Ann is survived by numerous other family members. Her family would like to especially recognize family members Donald and Brenda Bishop for their faithful friendship and help over the many years.
