With heavy hearts, but filled with deep love and gratitude, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Adela Carreon Yanogacio. She was called home to the Lord on May 27, 2025, at the age of 103. Born on December 16, 1921, in Santa Barbara, Pangasinan, Philippines, Adela was the cherished daughter of Ramon Benito Carreon and Engracia de Guzman Dacasin.
Adela was the heart and soul of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always guided by her caring heart and offering kindness and understanding to everyone around her. With a heart full of grace, she prayed daily for the well-being, health, and happiness of each and every one of her loved ones, near and far. Her prayers were a gift, a powerful expression of her deep faith and boundless love. She remained playful and full of spirit until the very end. She was the very embodiment of a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother-loving, nurturing, and unwavering in her care. Her warmth and sense of humor were a beacon of light in our lives, and even in her final days, she continued to brighten our hearts.
She leaves behind a lasting legacy of kindness and love, having lovingly raised 12 children, and nurtured 38 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Her gentle spirit, heartfelt prayers, and unwavering love she gave will forever resonate in the generations she touched. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her children: Milagros Pocaigue (Jose†), Joselito Yanogacio (Nympha), Jesus Yanogacio (Jeaneth), Cesar Yanogacio (Maria), Lydia Abad (Mariano), Karmela Zobel, Edgardo Yanogacio (Sally); and her children-in-law, Cristeta Yanogacio (Ulderico†), and William Greely (Adoracion†).
Grandchildren: Leandro, Endrie, and Vladimir Yanogacio; Melissa McKenzie (Corey), Adelamarie Mapp (Amadi), Joseph Pocaigue (Alicia); Irish Galang (Ryan); Gretchen Kelter (John), Stephanie Mannucci (Edgard), Kimberly Yanogacio (Conrad), and Dawn Collins (Justin); Jesse, and Neil Yanogacio, Janelle Santa Maria (Christian), Katherine, and Andrew Yanogacio; Gwendolyn Sison, Claudette, Camille, Cassandra, and CJ Yanogacio; Michael, Christopher, Regina (Will), Pamela, and JR Eblacas; Kriselda Kooravand; D.I. (Ana), Lawrence (Chau), Edward (Destiny), Lendl (Leia), and Mikhail Yanogacio (Alicea); Marc Paolo, and Christina Abad, Melanie Kaing (Davith); Ellalorraine Greely, Jackie Gauthier (Javon), and Annabelle Greely.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vidal Yanogacio; her children, Ulderico Yanogacio, Angelita Thomas, Elvira Eblacas, Adoracion Yanogacio, and Stella Yanogacio; her children-in-law, William Thomas, Ruben Eblacas, and Jose Baza Pocaigue; her great-grandchild, Chad Galang; her siblings, Trinidad Fernandes (Epitacio), Pedro Carreon (Juliana), Restituto Carreon, Alejandro Carreon, Cristeta Foronda (Gerardo), Vicente Carreon (Socorro), Federico Carreon (Iluminada), and Antonio Carreon (Gertrude). Now, she joins these cherished family members in eternal peace.
