Adele Gan passed away peacefully on March 24 at the Jewish Home, Rochester, NY. Adele was born December 4, 1938 in Buffalo, NY to Marvin and Bella (Trachtman) Foigelman. She graduated from Bennett High School and SUNY Buffalo. Adele taught grades K-3 in the Buffalo and Rochester Public School Systems. Adele enjoyed time spent with family and friends in Rochester and Pompano Beach, Fl. She liked to read, travel and garden. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Adele was predeceased by Harry Gan, her husband of 52 years. She is survived by her son Larry Trachtman (Lisa Salzman); stepson Todd Gan (Dee); stepdaughter Peggy Yellin (Harold); grandchildren Ben Trachtman (Courtney); Morgan Moushon (Blake); step grandchildren Jace Gan, Steffi Yellin (Ericka Miller), Josh Yellin (Ashley); and great grandchildren Ellie Trachtman, Audrey Yellin and Levi Yellin.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Riverside Cemetery, 2650 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612.
