In Loving Memory of Our Mother
Adeline Marie Dunlap passed away on May 27, 2022 in Seattle, Washington after suffering a stroke in late March.
She was a loving and kind mother, grandmother and friend to many. Mom loved people and only saw the good in everyone she knew.
Born on a farm in Taylor, North Dakota on June 21, 1926.
She and our father met at a dance during WWII and married on March 14, 1946. Mom and Dad had been married for 67 years when Dad passed in 2013.
The last six years she resided with her daughters; traveling from coast to coast until physically unable to do so.
Our family gatherings meant the world to her. She also loved to dance, especially to a polka!
Mom's faith and her family were her greatest loves.
She leaves behind five children: Mike Dunlap, Stephen Dunlap, Mary Kay Pipes, Mark Dunlap and Joan Seivold. Eight grandchildren: Serene Barrett, Johnny Seivold, Jacob Pipes, Nick Dunlap, Jordan Seivold, Tony Dunlap, Sam Pipes and Simon Dunlap; and five great-grandchildren: Brennan Barrett, Kaden Barrett, Brooks Pipes, Tess Pipes and Matthew Seivold; as well as three daughters-in-law and two sons-in-law, whom she loved and treated as her own. She is also survived by two living sisters, two nieces and many nephews.
