Aden Alexander Borros, 23, of
Dover, NH passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
It is with tremendous sorrow and broken-heartedness to announce the inadvertent passing of Aden, who was an incredible and so very loved son, brother, and friend.
Born on January 9th, 2002, in
Dover, NH, Aden was the son of Ronald and Elizabeth Borros of
Dover, NH. He was a lifelong resident of Dover, and graduated from Dover High School in 2020 with interests in Animal Science. While in high school, Aden worked at Hannaford Supermarket in Dover, then attended Great Bay Community College. He was later employed as a security guard at Sig Sauer in Portsmouth, NH where he increased his education to include arms training and executive protection. Aden was a member of the IBEW Local 2320 and to better his skills he also took classes in Krav Maga defense training. As someone who was always trying to improve and advance himself, as soon as he turned 21 he took an armed nuclear security officer position at Seabrook Station where he remained employed. In early April he was accepted into Seabrook Station's Special Applications Unit (S.A.U team) and was proud of this accomplishment, as were we. Even after his acceptance he continued to train with a goal of improving his physicality. Just days later, he was gone.
Aden was kind, mild-tempered, had a witty sense of humor, and never raised his voice; friendly to everyone and anyone who knew him enjoyed his company. While speaking with some of Aden's friends and acquaintances, a common theme was that his kindness and friendship made a difference in people's lives; whether it was a quick hello, a nod of acknowledgment, a simple text, or conversation. It was noted that "on a bad day his smile and kindness would make [them] smile". Aden was responsible, dependable, ambitious, and trustworthy. His generosity was highlighted when tipping more than the norm, saying that people in the service industry "don't make enough". Aden was smart, practical, and a quick-learner. Whether it be career related or personal interest, he was always trying to gain more knowledge. Aden was truly the glue, the calm, the rock, that was integral for our family. Anytime you needed him he was there. Aden was my helper, my lunch companion, my friend, my heart – my son and I cannot imagine life without him in it.
Aden had so much going for him and was in the incipience of his life. Doing everything right, he was self-sufficient, of good character, and even saving for a house. Aden had so many future plans. He asked if I wanted to travel to Japan with him, later finding out he was in the process of learning Japanese for this trip. Aden also put in for time off in December to plan for a family vacation and had interests in visiting Ireland, Scotland, and Denmark. He expressed interest in going on another survivalist camping trip as he enjoyed being in nature. Aden also enjoyed going out fishing in his kayak whether alone, with friends, or with his brother Logan. He also got his sister Alivia a fishing license in hopes to bring her out too. On these trips Aden would send me pictures of his fish, basking turtles, bring tadpoles or frogs home, and one time sent pictures of seals he saw when kayaking in the ocean. Having enjoyed that excursion, he was looking forward to going out again this summer and using the GoPro he got for Christmas. Snowboarding and skiing with his brother Logan was also mentioned as a must-do next winter. Aden loved animals, exploring nature, healthy living, the ocean, theme park rides, computers, and making bonfires. His interests were vast and included fishing, going to the range, shooting his bow, video games, making homemade mead, drawing, wood carving, swimming, and he dabbled in cooking. He had just mentioned wanting to make natural soda, was also interested in learning how to fence, to forge, and even bought a banjo to learn how to play. Aden recently completed the motorcycle training course and planned to get a bike. His motto was always "it's fine" or "it will be fine" whenever there was a stressful situation or difference of opinion in solving something. He was not prone to stressing out over small things that just didn't matter and knew things would work themselves out. Aden also enjoyed the company of his cat, Auto, and they have been inseparable since he adopted him as a kitten.
The agony of this loss is truly immeasurable. The thought of not having him in our lives drains all life and joy out of my soul and causes an indescribable amount of pain and emptiness.
His life was taken way too soon, before he had a chance to truly live it. Perils are all around us and can happen anytime. Hug your children, your family, and tell them you love them every chance you get. The tiny bit of comfort that I have is that I know Aden knew how much he was loved. Life is beautiful when there are beautiful souls in it and his presence will truly be missed.
