Adrian "Andy" Frank Boxman

Mr. Adrian "Andy" Frank Boxman, age 76 of McLeansville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on June 15, 1948, to the late Johannes Bertus Boxman and Margaret Little Boxman. Andy joined the United States Marine Corps in 1967 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam as a helicopter gunner. He graduated from Guilford College and served with the Guilford County Sheriff's Department for 30 years before retiring. He was a faithful member of the McLeansville Baptist Church. Although he will be sorely missed on this Earth, he is now safely home, seamlessly healed, and sublimely happy. In his words, he would say, "Oh my!!!"

Left to cherish the memories of Andy are his loving wife of 38 years, Deborah Glidewell Boxman; two children, Christopher Murray (Jeanne) and Amber Patterson (John); six grandchildren, Samantha Matchett (Corey), Christine Patterson (Kyle), Jakob Patterson, Trinity Patterson, Anderson Murray, Vance Murray; three great-grandchildren, Cooper, Claire, and Ariel; two siblings, Jack Boxman (Lee), and Johanna Willis (Gary); one niece, Emmalee Morgan; and one great-nephew, David Morgan.

The memorial service for Mr. Boxman will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 3 p.m. at McLeansville Baptist Church on Frieden Church Road, McLeansville, North Carolina. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Sunday afternoon at the church. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McLeansville Baptist Church, 5205 Frieden Church Road, McLeansville, NC 27301.
