Adrian Humphrey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Miles J. Kimble Mortuary & Cremation on Mar. 18, 2026.
Adrian L. Humphrey, Jr. was born on November 21, 2006, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to Adrian Humphrey, Sr. and Shirley Ann Jackson. He departed this life on March 9, 2026, at the age of 19 years. As a child, he was affectionately known as "DoDo," a nickname given by his uncle Jerome, and later became known by many as "Double 0."

Adrian was raised in Forrest City, Arkansas, where he lived with his family and attended the Forrest City Public School System. He was expected to graduate in May of this year. Adrian was known by many as an energetic young man who enjoyed life and brought joy to those around him with his smile and youthful spirit.

Adrian loved basketball and all sports and proudly ran track for Forrest City High School. He had a special love for cars, movies, children, and spending time with older people, toward whom he gravitated and cared deeply. Adrian had a generous heart and was known for being kind, giving, and thoughtful toward others.

Adrian shared a very close bond with his family. His grandmother, Deloise Dent, loved him dearly and played an instrumental role in helping raise him until her passing. Adrian's life, though brief, left a lasting impression on the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Adrian transitioned from this life on March 9, 2026, at Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Deloise Dent and Janie McKnight; his grandfathers, Charles Jackson, Ray Wheeler, and Lawrence Boyland, Sr.; and his great-grandfather, Willie Humphrey.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his devoted mother, Shirley Ann Jackson of Widener, Arkansas; his stepfather, Lawrence "Duck Eye" Boyland of Widener, Arkansas, who has been in his life since he was five years old; his father, Adrian Humphrey, Sr. of Forrest City, Arkansas; his grandmother, Louise Humphrey of Forrest City, Arkansas; his brother, Tamario Boyland of Jonesboro, Arkansas; nine nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Though Adrian's time with us was short, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
