Mr. Willie C. Miles

Willie C. Miles was born on July 31, 1943, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to the late Alvin Miles and Jannie Mae Moore Satterwhite. He was raised in Forrest City and later moved to Illinois, where he accepted Christ at an early age at Antioch Baptist Church in Waukegan, Illinois.

Willie later returned to Forrest City, Arkansas, in the mid-2000s, where he remained for the rest of his life. Throughout his working years, Willie was employed as a laborer in the car rental industry, where he worked faithfully for many years. He was known for his quiet strength, hardworking spirit, and the kindness he showed to those around him.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Miles and Jannie Mae Moore Satterwhite; two uncles, Eugene Moore and James Henry Moore; and three aunts, Pearlie Gregory, Channie Dorris, and Ruthie Mae Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved aunts, Dorothy Mae Anderson and Louise Moore; a special nurse and caregiver, Edna "Faye" Marlowe for many years; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who will forever remember his life and legacy.

In accordance with his wishes, Willie will be cremated, and a private interment will be planned for the family.
