Obituary published on Legacy.com by Clovis Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services on Mar. 12, 2026.
Adrian Pena, age 66 entered into eternal life on March 5, 2026. He was born on August 29, 1959, in Fowler California and raised in Kingsburg. He was surrounded by his devoted wife, Alicia, all of his children, and two sisters. Adrian bravely fought a difficult battle, which he faced with strength, faith, and determination. He now rests in peace, free from pain and suffering, embraced by eternal love in the presence of God, the Angels, and family who preceded him in death.
He was the foundation of our family, with quiet strength and boundless generosity. He supported each of our dreams, reinforced our bonds through unwavering love, and created countless beautiful memories that will endure forever in our hearts.
Adrian joined the US Army in 1977. He proudly served his country and carried that sense of duty, loyalty, and strength throughout every part of his life.
He lived life with passion, curiosity, and deep love for the people around him. He was an avid golfer who cherished time on the course with family (brother-in-law's in particular) and his closest friends.
Adrian took up the love of running marathons in his 40s. He loved the challenge and discipline that came with it and he gave it 100%. He got to a point where he would finish the race and then go back and find his friends to push them through the finish line.
He took pride in his work and genuinely loved his job and especially the many friendships he formed throughout the years which he considered as family.
Adrian had a natural gift for bringing people together, and his warmth, humor, and loyalty made him someone others could always count on. Adrian showed his love through cooking and thoughtful traditions. One of his most cherished, was planning a special New Year's dinner for his family, bringing them together to celebrate, laugh, and start the new year surrounded by love. Those moments around the table were just one of the many ways he made his family feel cared for and connected.
Adrian had a passion for antiques and an appreciation for the history and beauty in things that others might overlook. He never passed up a good yard sale or a good find on Marketplace. He had a way of seeing value and meaning where others might not, and that perspective reflected the way he lived his life. He loved to travel, explore new places, and create memories along the way. And if there was dessert available, he never passed up the opportunity to enjoy something sweet.
Above all else, Adrian's greatest joy in life was his family. His grandchildren were truly the light of his world. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with them, watching them grow, and sharing in their lives. His love for them was deep, proud, and unconditional. He was the steady presence that everyone leaned on, the one who quietly made sure things were taken care of. His wisdom, foresight, and dedication made him the true foundation of his family.
Adrian was preceded in death by his father, Arturo Pena and his two brothers, Humberto and Aaron.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Alicia Pena; his children, JC Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez (Belle), Nicole Anderson (Lee), Lyndsie Frost (Joston), and Lauryn Pena; his nine beloved grandchildren, Aiden, Gabrielle, Sophia, Max, Jameson, Elijah, Waylon, Gracelyn, and Jacklyn; his devoted mother, Enedina Pena; three brothers, Sergio, Hector, and Alonzo; and two sisters, Sandra and Rose.
His unwavering faith knowing he would be welcomed home by our Lord, brought him peace and strength to get him through his final journey.
Adrian's legacy of love, faith, strength, and devotion lives on in all who knew him. His life was a gift to his family and friends, and the memories he created will continue to guide and comfort us. We are deeply grateful for the prayers, kindness, and support extended to our family during this time of sorrow and reflection.
With much love and gratitude,
Alicia Pena and children, JC, Richard, Nicole, Lyndsie, and Lauryn.
