Adrian Wayne Torres, a beloved member of his family and community, departed this life on January 21, 2025, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He was born to Renee and Manuel Torres on March 22, 1976, in Roswell, New Mexico, Adrian touched the lives of many throughout his journey with his warmth, generosity, and unwavering faith.
Adrian had attended Gallup High School. He enjoyed a working at different jobs before retiring. His life was notably characterized by a deep commitment to his faith, he was dedicated to teaching others about believing in "The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit." Adrian had a passion for music; most notably, he played the guitar, which brought joy to himself and those around him. He found pleasure in reading the Bible and had a fondness for riding dirt bikes, walking and cruising in his truck.
He is survived by his loving family, his parents, Renee and Manuel Torres; his brother, Nick Torres; his sister, Elena Torres; his close niece, Amaya Valencia; and his special nephew, Jonah Diaz. Adrian is also remembered fondly by his uncle, Les Summers; his aunts, Connie Herdt, Rose Torres, Sophia Fallin and Janet Torres; his cousin, Sarah Esping; as well as his seven nieces and three nephews who will carry on his legacy of love and kindness.
Adrian was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Inez Rutledge, Robert Rutledge, Virginia Ferguson, and Kenneth Dalton. He was also preceded in death by his uncles, Daniel L Torres and Andrew J. Torres. A brother, Steven Camp.
Visitation for Adrian will take place on February 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, located at 2400 Southern Blvd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. A funeral service will follow on February 18, 2025, beginning at 11:30 AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1001 Meteor Ave NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144. He will then be laid to rest at Vista Verde Memorial Park at 1:00 PM the same day.
Adrian Wayne Torres will be remembered for his love of family, his commitment to his faith, and his zest for life, leaving behind a legacy that will inspire many for years to come. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
