Adriana Gil passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on July 13, 2025, after a courageous and unwavering battle with cancer. Born on June 21, 1966, in Medellín, Colombia, Adriana was the beloved daughter of Ramón Ángel Gil Medina and the late Blanca Agudelo Villa.

Adriana was a devoted and loving mother to Sebastian Mesa and his wife Blanca, Andrea Gonzales and her husband Oscar, and Juan Camilo Taborda. Her heart and soul were rooted in her role as a mother, and even more so as "Tita" to her cherished grandchildren: Alejandro, Anthony, Michael, Sebastian, and Lillian.

She was the dear sister of Doris Gil, Miriam Gil, María Eugenia Gil, and Nicolás Gil and his wife Patricia. She is now reunited in peace with her late siblings, Yamilet and Hernán Gil. Adriana's legacy lives on through her many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless friends whose lives she touched.

Adriana will always be remembered as a warrior - a woman of extraordinary strength, determination, and grace. Despite the many challenges she faced during her illness, she never wavered in her will to live or in her love for those around her. Her spirit, resilience, and warmth left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Family and friends will honor Adriana's life by gathering for visiting hours at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston, on Wednesday, July 16th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
