Adriel "Sonny" Lee Crombie, 89
SIMPSONVILLE

Adriel "Sonny" Lee Crombie, age 89, of Simpsonville passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025, in Louisville.
He was born on Jan. 2,1936, to the late Luther Calvin and Hallie Jane Lear Crombie.
Sonny was a member of Hempridge Baptist Church. He was a machinist at Roll Forming in Shelbyville for 35 years. He was very proud of the replica he had made of Simpsonville Baptist Church. Sonny was a NASCAR fan. His greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved taking them fishing.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lou Sutherland Crombie and his son, Barry Lee Crombie.
He is survived by his son, Arthur Calvin Crombie (Patty) of Louisville; his daughter, Lisa Jane Crombie Marks (Tim) of Taylorsville; his daughter in law, Tamryn Burgin Crombie; his grandchildren, T. J. Marks (Angela), Meghan Marks, Dylan Marks, Tabatha Wilms, Tasha Siemer (Chris) Alexander Glaiser and Noah Glaiser; his great-grandchildren, Hallie Crombie, Khalel Gaddie, An'Asia Gaddie, R'eal Gaddie, Brendan Siemer, James Siemer and Helen Marks.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at the Shannon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4 and after 11 a.m. Monday until time of service.
