Adrien Hachey Obituary
Adrien R. Hachey, 43, of Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away on August 22, 2022, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Adrien was born in Morristown to Rh al and Rose-marie Hachey on February 25, 1979. He is a graduate of Ridge High School (1997) and received an associate degree in construction management technologies from Raritan Valley Community College. Adrien, a union mason, worked as a general foreman for J.R. Prisco, Inc., for 25 years. He enjoyed camping, motor-sports, and spending time with his family. Adrien is survived by his parents; his four sons, Reid, Nathan, Alec, and Evan; and their mother Renee, his siblings, Carol (Derek) Todd, Ernie (Lisa) Hachey, and Patrick (Michelle) Hachey; his partner, Melissa Wertz, and her three children, S amus, Bella, and Kevin; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 6:00 - 8:00pm at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. 10:00am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1890 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, NJ 08836. Dear Rheal and family,
Our deepest sympathies for a truly terrible and unthinkable loss. Having to bury your child is something no one should ever have to do and we are truly without words that could possibly have meaning at this time. We will make a donation for Adrian´s sons´ education in an effort to try to help in some meaningful way. I saw quite a bit of caring, love and remembrances today and I wish everyone the best life has to offer. Adrien often spoke about enjoying life and family, as did his Dad and his Grandad. I enjoyed their skills as masons and their spark for life. I hope you all take their spirit with you throughout life, truly inspirational. God bless.

Adrien was the head mason for the construction of our new monastery wing (completed in 2018), under contractor, J.R. Prisco. He highly respected by the construction crew and his skill, mastery, and passion for his work were just incredible to see. I was further impressed by how he patiently answered my many questions (I was the nuns' project manager). The building is truly a testament and memorial to his craftsmanship!
May Adrien rest in the Lord's peace! All of us Dominican Nuns at the Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary, Summit, NJ, are praying for all of Adrien's loved ones, especially his sons.

Adrien was the principal mason for our building project at the Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary in Summit, NJ. He was a true gentleman and craftsman. We felt blessed to have him build our new wing.
We pray for him and for his family, that they will know God's love and consolation during this very difficult time.
May God reward Adrien with Eternal Life for all his kindness to us.
