Agatha "Sue" Davis passed away on March 22, 2025, at Reid Health in Richmond at the age of 84. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on November 15, 1940, the daughter of Paul and Ruby Bruce Catron.
In Monticello, Kentucky on June 16, 1962, she was united in marriage to John. T. Davis. They shared 62 years of marriage prior to her death. They were blessed with two children.
Sue was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that loved working in her flower gardens and tending her plants. She loved wildlife and her animals. She was known to adopt stray animals and give them a forever home. Sue was a member of the Doris Day Animal Foundation. Her home and family were her everything.
In addition to her husband, her love and memories will be cherished by her son, John W. (LaDena Ruble) Davis; a sister, Dawn Catron; grandchildren, Alexis Stephen, Amanda (Brad) Boulware, Brandy (Ben) Baker and Dusti Davis; great grandchildren, Peyton Baker, Karli Boulware, and Jager Boulware; great-great grandchild, Paisley Sue Baker as well as one on the way; and half-brother, Max Scott.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Davis Stephen and her brother, PJ "Sonny" Catron and sister-in-law Diane Catron.
Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Monday March 31, 2025 at 2:00pm. Friends and family may gather from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Sue will be laid to rest at Springersville Cemetery.
