Funeral service for Lorena Denison will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church in Chickasha, OK. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church Chickasha, OK on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 11:45 a.m. prior to the service.

Agatha Lorena “Rene” Denison passed away peacefully at the age of ninety-five in Norman, OK surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 11th, 2026.

She was born December 26th, 1930 in Chickasha, OK to Edward and Alma Bitsche. She was the eighth of their nine children. Rene was a bookkeeper, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rene was very proud of her family. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for her family and pregnancy centers through Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church of Norman and Church of the Holy Angels of Bainbridge, OH.

She shared 4 children with Gilbert Denison: Brian (Sandra), Gregory (Elizabeth), Alice (Dennis), and Ronald (Susan). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings John Bitsche, Florence Greynolds, William ‘Bill’ Bitsche, Dorothy Russell, Robert Bitsche, and Raymond Bitsche.

She is survived by siblings Martha Sue and Charles Bitsche, her four children, twelve grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
