Rochester: Peacefully with the love of her family in her heart on Friday, July 25th, 2025 at the age of 88. Agnes is predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Francesca Saeli; her daughter, Catherine Anderson; brothers, John Saeli of Chicago and Anthony Saeli of Rochester; sisters, Anita Weigelt of Oswego and Marion Ullrich of Rochester; son-in-law, Michael Cotner. Agnes is survived by her partner, Joseph Gagliano; her daughter, Joan (Earl Tuttle) Cotner of TX; sons, Robert (Debbie) Anderson and John (Pattie) Anderson, both of Rochester; grandchildren, Paula Ferrantelli, Joseph (Kellie) Ferrantelli, Jeffrey (Nicole) Anderson, Christopher (Maria), Christa (Chris) McCoy and Shane (Alisha) Cotner; great-grandchildren, Preston, Nathan, Haley, Liam, Evan, Joshua, Logan, Luca, Louie and Lia; several nieces, nephews and cousins; her faithful cat, Willow.
Our Mother graduated from Mercy High School in 1954. She retired as a secretary from Marshall High School in 2001. She learned to play piano as a young girl, many talents, A loving giving heart to all, not shabby playing poker either, growing up where card playing was held often in our basement.
Watsgnu Cattery over 25 yrs breeding and showing of Persian cats, also Shih Tzu and Shelties. Growing up, she always had a dog, mainly German Shepherds. She also loved to dance, as we remember as children. Frequently Wegmans with Johnny Matt, along with other dance venues. A frequent weekly attendee at "WOW" Wellness on Wednesdays in Webster.
Family and friends are welcome Monday, August 11th from 10-11am at the Profetta Funeral Chapel 1650 Empire Blvd. where a Prayer Service will be held at 11am. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY 14450 or to Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester1048 University Ave. Rochester, NY 14607
