Agnes Marie "Aggie" Cain, age 93, of Elgin, IL, passed away on April 5th 2024, surrounded
by her children & grandchildren at her home in Elgin, IL. She was born on January 18, 1931
in Chicago, IL. Aggie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, special
Aunt, treasured friend to many. Aggie was kind, loving, generous, and compassionate. Aggie
was passionate about her family and lived her life guided by her strong faith.
Surviving family members include
Children – Thomas Cain ( Peggy), Carol Malmfeldt, Susan Cain Jaeger (Scott), Robert Cain
Jr. (Natalie), John Cain, Michael Cain (Sarah). Preceded in death by her husband Robert
Cain.
She is survived by 14 Grandchildren & 19 Great Grandchildren.
Aggie was an amazing artist, she had gifted over 130 miniature creations over the past 50
years. If you were lucky enough to get one of her miniature rooms, please treasure it. Her
heart and soul went into each creation.
Aggie treasured the little things in life these were a few of her favorite things!
Bubbles, galivanting, gardenias, crafts with the grandkids, chocolate, sunflowers, eclairs,
shopping, dancing, nativity scenes, memories, smiles, prime rib, Disney World. little hands,
laughter, QVC, butter, singing, giving to others, bird watching, politics, writing stories, friends,
sea gulls, jewelry, giraffe kisses, country western music, bare feet, making people
laugh Aggie just loved life!
If you knew Aggie, you loved her, it was just that simple!
Aggie's Advice Live, Love, Laugh, Pray & Blow Bubbles!
A memorial service will be held at Hosanna! Lutheran Church in St. Charles on Saturday,
April 27th 2024. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00
AM. A lunch will be served at the church immediately following the service all are welcome.
Interment at Garfield Cemetery after lunch.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Aggie's name to the following charities are welcome:
