Agnes Martin Fitch passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the age of 87. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas "Buddy" Fitch and the daughter of the late Andrew & Virginia Martin of Clover, VA.
Agnes was retired from Tultex and Basset Walker as a sewing machine operator. She was a member of New Bethel Church, which was her home church. Agnes also enjoyed attending services at Bethel Baptist and Hitesburg Baptist Church. Agnes was a resident of The Chastain Home for Gentlewomen, she enjoyed spending her time there with all of her friends.
She is survived by daughters, Joan Burton (Robbie), Tammy Williamson (Rodney) and Brenda Coleman (Ronnie); grandchildren, Sharon Bane (Tim), Michael Irby (Misty), Brian Irby (Erika), Megan Newcomb, Ronnie Coleman (Ashley), Eric Coleman (Tracey), Shannon Adcock (David) and Brandon Williamson (Jennifer); great grandchildren, Makayla, Andrew, Matthew Austin, J.E. Anderson, Jr, Jere, Sophie, Colton, Jessie, Evan, Ryan, Ava, London, Sydney, Grant, Tyler, Hailey, Layla, Brynlee, Harper & Landon; great great grandchild, Barrett; siblings, Tommy Martin (Ginny), Betty Mills, Mary Lee Conner, Easter Fitch and Janice Fisher(David); brother-in-law, Doug Fitch (Virginia); and sister-in-law, Ann Carwile (James).
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by son, Robert Elmo Conner Jr; grandson & wife, Robert "Bobby" Burton, III (Lynn); brothers, Wyatt, Butch, Clyde and Randolph Martin.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Clover Cemetery with Reverends Kevin Moen and Ian Rigney officiating.
