Agnes Louise Pratka

Agnes Louise Pratka, a lifelong resident of Prague, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 89. Agnes was born on February 2, 1935 in Prague, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jerome Stephen and Vera Christine (Studler) Pratka. Agnes grew up in Prague and attended Prague Schools.
Agnes was a devout Catholic and was strong in her faith. She served her Lord and her church for many years. She worked for more than 30 years for the Shrine of the Infant Jesus and St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague. Agnes lived a simple life of loving and caring for others. She was soft spoken and kind. She had a caring heart and loving spirit for those in need and will be greatly missed.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Christine Pratka; infant brother, Joe Raymond Pratka; her brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Charlene Pratka; her brother, Henry Pratka; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Edward Brezny, Aileen and Vernon Jordan and brothers-in-law, John Bartos and Vernon Harper.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Steve Pratka and his wife, Pam, of Prague; three sisters, Lillie Bartos of Prague, Geraldine Harper of Prague and Rosalie Navrath, her husband, Joe, of Prague and sister-in-law, Shirlene Pratka; fifteen nieces and nephews and host of family and friends.
