Agnes Ward Obituary
She was born January 11, 1946 in San Diego CA, daughter of the late Robert and Jane Miller Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Paul Ward; daughter, Heather Anne Hesketh and husband Steven Champeon of Raleigh; many nieces and nephews; three sister-in-laws, Brenda Krynicki and husband Doug, Lynda Brown and husband Ed, and Vickie Ward.
Agnes was a cardiac care technician at Pender Memorial Hospital for over 16 years. She was an honest, loving and caring person. If anyone asked Agnes for help she would go out of her way to help them. Agnes was a member of the Eastern Star. She was athletic in high school and played basketball and held records in track. Agnes was also an accomplished seamstress.
