Agustín Flores Onofre

With deep sorrow, the family of Agustín Flores Onofre announces his passing.

Agustín Flores Onofre, born on August 28, 1982, in Piaxtla, Puebla, Mexico, entered into eternal rest in Wendell, North Carolina on October 25, 2025. He was the beloved son of Heriberto and Rosa Flores.

Agustín moved to New York with his family during childhood and was raised in a devout Catholic home. He attended Morris High School in the Bronx, where he completed his formal education. After graduating, he relocated first to Virginia and later to North Carolina to be closer to his siblings.

A passionate supporter of Cruz Azul soccer and an enthusiast of motorcycles, Agustín was known for his vibrant spirit and warm heart. He lived simply, loved deeply, and brought joy to those around him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Heriberto and Rosa, and his devoted sisters, Beatriz, Luz, Teresa, and Patricia. He will be remembered as a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and loyalty touched many lives.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 3:00 pm, at Strickland Funeral Home, with Father Daniel Pinell officiating. Interment will follow the service in Greenmount Cemetery.

Agustín Flores Onofre, nacido el 28 de agosto de 1982 en Piaxtla, Puebla, México, partió a su descanso eterno en Wendell, Carolina del Norte el 28de Octubre 2025. Fue el amado hijo de Heriberto Flores y Rosa Onofre.

Agustín se mudó a Nueva York con su familia durante su infancia y fue criado en un hogar católico devoto. Asistió a la Morris High School en el Bronx, donde completó su educación formal. Después de graduarse, se trasladó primero a Virginia y luego a Carolina del Norte para estar más cerca de sus hermanos.

Apasionado seguidor del equipo Cruz Azul, Real Madrid y entusiasta de las motocicletas, Agustín era conocido por su espíritu alegre y su gran corazón. Vivió con sencillez, amó profundamente y brindó alegría a quienes tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo.

Le sobreviven sus amorosos padres, Heriberto y Rosa, y sus queridas hermanas, Beatriz, Luz, Teresa y Patricia. Será recordado como un hijo, hermano, tío y amigo entrañable, cuya bondad y lealtad dejaron una huella imborrable en todos los que lo rodearon.

El funeral se llevará a cabo el viernes 31 de octubre de 2025 a las 3:00 p. m. en la Funeraria Strickland, oficiado por el Padre Daniel Pinell. El sepelio tendrá lugar a continuación en el Cementerio Greenmount.
