Funeral Mass for Agustin Aragon, age 72 of Seminole, Texas will be celebrated Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Eduardo Teo officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. Rosary will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Aragon was born August 28, 1953 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Josefina (Ruiz) and Abelardo Aragon. He married Jesusa Flores on February 14, 1989 in Greeley, Colorado. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Agustin was a hard worker; he worked as a farm laborer and also worked at several gins in the area. He loved to plant chiles and many garden items, as well as care for his chickens and other farm animals. He was a generous man with a big heart who enjoyed cooking out in his spare time. He loved his family dearly and cared for others as well; he was a great father, brother and friend. There was nothing he wouldn't do to help family and friends.

Agustin Aragon passed away November 22, 2025 at Permian Regional Hospital in Andrews, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Jesusa Aragon of Seminole, Texas; two sons, Eduardo Aragon and wife Claudia of Mexico, and James Aragon and wife Emila of Houston, Texas; seven brothers, Chato Aragon and wife Rosa of Burlington, Colorado, Candelario Aragon and wife Patricia of Amarillo, Texas, Martin Aragon and wife Guana, Alonzo Aragon and wife Irma, Carlos Aragon, Arturo Aragon and wife Maricela, and Javier Aragon, all of Mexico; five sisters, LucLena Lara, Bertha Porras and husband Chama, and Pepa Almanca and husband Luis, all of Mexico, Elida Cuvia and husband Cruz of Dumas, Texas, and Lupe Arroyo and husband Junior of Amarillo, Texas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
