Mr. Bennett was born February 3, 1933 in Fredericksburg, Texas. He married Virgina (Ribble) Bennett on July 28, 1951. He worked in the oilfield most of his life and later retired as a foreman for Yoakum County Precinct 2. Herman was a hardworking man and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Herman Bennett passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Yoakum County Hospital in Denver City. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Bennett, in 2017; and one son, Keith Bennett. He is survived by one son, Willam Bennett of Denver City; one granddaughter, Brandy Duplissey and husband Jesse of Carlsbad, New Mexico; one great-grandson, Tyler Duplissey; and one great-granddaughter, Kaylee Duplissey..
