Agustina Sanchez

Agustina Sanchez went to be with the Lord on September 7th 2025. What she thought would be a normal day that Sunday, ended up being the day she would reunite with her beloved husband Arturo, who she has missed dearly since his passing in 2022. Despite how sudden our loss is, we take comfort knowing that they are together again. She was the daughter of Gustavo and Sara Beltran. Agustina was a Waukegan area resident since the 1980's. She is preceded in death by Arturo V. Sanchez, her husband of over 50 years. The two of them had raised a family of 6. Agustina worked throughout her life, but she was always sure to have a hot delicious meal on the table for her family. She was completely devoted to her husband and family. She enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, and time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Agustina was an incredibly strong woman, tougher than most. If she had something to say, she said it without holding back. She was raised in a ranch style life in Mexico with tough parents that instilled a good work ethic and fearlessness in her. She showed that fearlessness throughout her life, and inspired her family to do the same. Agustina was truly one of a kind.
She is survived by her children Jesus Sanchez, Marco Antonio (Marisela) Sanchez, Vicente (Yolanda) Sanchez, Alfonsina Sanchez, Arturo (Jacquelyn) Sanchez and Jonathan Sanchez. Her grandchildren, Tiphani, Vicente Jr., Marc, Fernando, Alejandro,Jessy, Elizabeth, Prisma, Arisbeth, Nicholas, Adrian, Jasly, Cecilia, Tony, Adilenne, Yadira, Oscar, Michael, Gabriella, Damien, and great grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, sister, brother and friends all of which will miss her dearly.
Agustina's visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Peterson & Patch funeral home, 408 N Sheridan Road, Waukegan, IL 60085. A prayer service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 beginning at 10:30 am, at the funeral home also. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, 1436 Kenosha Road, Zion, IL 60099. Agustina Sánchez fue a estar con el Señor el 7 de septiembre de 2025. Lo que ella pensaba que sería un día normal, ese domingo terminó siendo el día en que se reuniría con su amado esposo Arturo, a quien ha extrañado mucho desde su fallecimiento en 2022. A pesar de lo repentino de nuestra pérdida, encontramos consuelo al saber que están juntos de nuevo. Ella era hija de Gustavo y Sara Beltrán. Agustina fue residente del área de Waukegan desde la década de 1980. Le sobrevive su esposo Arturo V. Sánchez, con quien estuvo casada por más de 50 años. Ambos criaron una familia de 6. Agustina trabajó a lo largo de su vida, pero siempre se aseguraba de tener una comida caliente y deliciosa en la mesa para su familia. Ella estuvo completamente dedicada a su esposo y su familia. Disfrutaba cocinar, estar al aire libre y pasar tiempo con la familia, especialmente con sus nietos y bisnietos. Agustina era una mujer increíblemente fuerte, más dura que la mayoría. Si tenía algo que decir, lo decía sin reservas. Creció en una vida de rancho en México con padres exigentes que le inculcaron una buena ética de trabajo y valentía. Mostró esa valentía a lo largo de su vida e inspiró a su familia a hacer lo mismo.
Agustina fue verdaderamente única.Le sobrevive sus hijos Jesús Sánchez, Marco Antonio (Marisela) Sánchez, Vicente (Yolanda) Sánchez, Alfonsina Sánchez, Arturo (Jacquelyn) Sánchez y Jonathan Sánchez. Sus nietos, Tiphani, Vicente Jr., Marc, Fernando, Alejandro, Jessy, Elizabeth, Prisma, Arisbeth, Nicolás, Adrián, Jasly, Cecilia, Tony, Adilenne, Yadira, Óscar, Michael, Gabriella, Damien, y bisnietos, primos, sobrinos, sobrinas, hermana, hermano y amigos, todos los cuales la extrañarán profundamente.
El velorio de Agustina será el jueves, 11 de septiembre 2025 de 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm en la funeraria Peterson & Patch, 408 N Sheridan Road, Waukegan, IL 60085. Un servicio de oración se llevará a cabo el viernes 12 de septiembre 2025 a las de septiembre 2025 a las 10:30 am, en la funeraria. Su sepelio será en el Panteón Mt.
