Aidan McCaa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven on Mar. 3, 2026.
Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven

Aidan Brooks McCaa, 21, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, in Southaven, MS. Though his time on this earth was far too short, Aidan's life was filled with love, purpose, and a light that touched everyone who knew him.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 5, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a celebration of life following at 3:00 p.m., all at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven. Bro. Mike Hale will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.

Aidan was tenderhearted, thoughtful, and deeply loving-a true "old soul" with a gentle spirit and a beautiful smile that could brighten even the darkest room. With his long lashes, green eyes, and curly hair, he had a presence that drew people in, but it was his kindness and sincerity that made him unforgettable.

He was known for being overly thoughtful, always opening doors, lending a hand, and putting others before himself. Aidan was truly people-oriented and had an endearing way of making everyone feel valued and seen. To know Aidan was to love him-words spoken by a close friend and echoed by countless others.

Cooking was Aidan's greatest passion. A talented and dedicated chef, he took immense pride in his craft, spending hours watching cooking shows, perfecting gourmet dishes, and sharing his creations with those he loved. His joy in the kitchen reflected his heart: generous, creative, and full of love.

Aidan was baptized in his youth and carried a deep love for Jesus throughout his life.

Aidan was a devoted son and a loving brother, serving as a mentor and confidant to Hunter and Jackson. He never hesitated to encourage them, guide them, or simply be there when they needed him.

His mother describes Aidan as her joy, her greatest blessing, and her heart. Their bond was unbreakable, and his loss leaves a space that cannot be filled, yet his love will forever remain.

He was a young man of strong character, quiet strength, and unwavering compassion. He loved deeply, lived sincerely, and left this world better than he found it.

Aidan is survived by his mother, Erica McCaa of Southaven, MS; brothers, Hunter and Jackson McCaa of Southaven; grandparents, Debbie and Bill Vopel of Arlington, TN, and Clifford and Cissy McCaa of Progresso, MX; great-grandmother, Martha Vopel of Memphis, TN; aunts, Denise Wilkerson of Memphis, Ramona Robinson of Progresso, and Terri and Vann Raley of Collierville, TN; cousins, Kaylon Wilkerson, Jonah Wilkerson, Brittany Raley, Blake and Lindsay Raley, Brett and Brittany Raley, and Neil Robinson; and girlfriend, Emma Sarwar.

Though Aidan's earthly journey has ended, his legacy of love, faith, kindness, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will forever be a blessing.
