Charles Anthony "Tony" McCarver

Charles Anthony "Tony" McCarver passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, at The Pinnacle of Southaven in the Memory Care Unit. Tony was born in Pontotoc and spent his early life growing up in Ecru as well as Memphis, TN. He started his 25-year long career at Kimberly Clark when he was 20 years old and continued his employment there until the company closed. After that Tony took up various jobs to keep him busy from black-jack dealer to truckdriver to real estate agent. Tony had a love of classic cars and warm summer days.

A graveside service will be Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 2:00pm at Ecru Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors, daughters, Christy Zinchini (Michael) and Leah McGugan (Kevin); son Jonathan McCarver (Linley); grandchildren, Patrick Irwin, Nathan Irwin, Elizabeth McGugan, Tristan McGuan and Mila McGugan.

Preceded in death by, Mother, Gatha Frances McCoy McCarver; father, Toy Parks McCarver and a sister, Bonna Cox.

Visitation, Thursday, March 5, 2026, 1:00 - 2:00pm at Ecru Cemetery.
