Aimee Lou (Baldwin) Sims, age 59, of Harrisburg, died on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Aimee was born on Thursday, June 30, 1966, in Bristol to the late Eugene Millard Baldwin and Susan Carol (Risheill) Baldwin.
Aimee’s survivors include her two sons: Zachary Sims and wife Kayla, of Mechanicsburg, Joshua Sims and wife Kerry, of Wilmington, DE; her three grandchildren: Bennett Sims, Nora Sims, Rosemary Sims; and her two siblings: Wayne Baldwin of Mechanicsburg, Jennifer Swinchock and husband Scott, of Camp Hill.
Aimee graduated from Cumberland Valley High School as part of the class of 1985 and from Harrisburg Area Community College with an associates degree. She had worked as a Radiologist Technician for Penn State Health, where she met many of her lifelong friends. Aimee’s life was deeply intertwined with those around her. A cancer survivor, she exemplified strength, determination, and a strong sense of selflessness. Her priorities were clear: family came first with Aimee. She cherished family game nights, gatherings, and weekly meals with her loved ones. Her greatest joy was being a mother to her two boys and a mimi to her 3 grandchildren. She always put her children first and loved watching them participate in athletics; no matter what life threw at her, she found a way to attend every practice and game. Her boys and grandchildren cherished her love and support greatly.
Aimee looked forward to family vacations at the beach, specifically the outer banks and Hilton Head, where she enjoyed reading, watching the ocean waves, and spotting dolphins. Aimee found companionship with her beloved dogs: Ginger, her loyal corgi, and Hardy Boy, her hound mix. She will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Services will be held at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 4200 Carlisle Pike, Camp Hill, PA 17011 on Friday, December 19, 2025. All are welcome to arrive at 10:00am with Aimee's funeral service beginning at 11:00am. A luncheon donated from the Church will be held immediately following her service.
