Lacey we miss you so much deeply. You were a beautiful smiling human being that ever touched the earth. I miss you so much that everytime I see a seamoss ad I think of you. I was suppose to be buying some from you. I kept calling you on Facebook messenger and never got a response. I love you keep shining bright on us.

I met Alaycia in my role as the marketplace chaplain at a business she worked at briefly earlier this year. Such a beautiful soul and a young woman who reflected an aura that drew attention when she walked into the room. May you bask in the magnificence of being in God´s presence. ~ Chaplain Teresa Knowles

To my dear friend Lacey,

Finding the right words to express how I feel has been extremely difficult. You were so much more than just my best friend; you were like a favorite sister. Your bold personality lit up every room and you had a heart of pure gold, always putting others first with your endless generosity and care.

We shared a ton of unforgettable moments filled with laughter and your goofy sense of humor could bring a smile to anyone´s face, no matter the situation. And whenever I needed it most, you were there with the best advice, always! I love you more than words can ever convey, and I´ll forever cherish the beautiful memories we created together.

My memory of Lacy is her beautiful smile and always giving me a hug when she saw me. She loved my sister and my mother. I remember her always being willing to help others. Her presence will be missed.

Well I can't say much but I will say this, lacey you will forever be missed. Your first memory I encountered with you at Mt Zion was racing with me and Keon in elementary to get to class. You saved me from being bullied at the time with Keon at Mt zion and ever since that day you held a place in my heart. You always had advice and you gave me a free sample to try of sea moss. You Lacey are a true jewel, inspiration and all the above. You are missed and highly loved and will truly miss you tremendously. Love you girl

It crazy how I just text alacyia and told her I want to purchase some seamoss next week. This is really got me and major tears. But I know God don´t make no mistake. I used to dance with Lacey at Mountzion Christian we had a lot of great times from great conversations and great dance practices and even praying during dance practice. We love you Lacey so much ..

My first memory of Lacy, that I can remember, was actually not liking her because she was the only female at the time who could somewhat keep up with me in a race in elementary, and most people who knew me back then knows that didn´t fly well with me. Yes, young egos can be THAT FRAGILE LOL. But then, all of a sudden, as we grew up she just became this sweetest person that she really always was, that I still can´t believe I ever had a disagreement with. While our friendship going forward had its ups and downs, the ups certainly outweighed the downs, and Lacy became someone to me I wouldn´t have wanted to trade for the world, as I´m sure she was for SO many others. I love and miss you Lace, and to the family and close friends, I won´t the give " don´t be sad" speech because that´s a very valid emotion to feel for the time being. Instead I will say, mourn, love on each other, then most importantly, move forward with life in a way or fashion that we all know would make Lacy proud. -with much love, Bj S.
