Alan Lee Boyer

Alan Lee Boyer, 62, of Leesburg, Florida went to be with his precious Lord and Savior on February 22, 2026, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Alma, Michigan on February 4, 1964, to Richard Boyer and Joyce Robinson Boyer. At age eight his family, which now included a brother, Bryan, moved to Moultrie, Georgia where his father worked in manufactured housing. In June 1977, the family moved to Leesburg, Florida. He loved Jesus with all his heart and fervently prayed for strength and direction. Alan played drums in the Leesburg High School Band and graduated in 1983. He loved thrift store shopping and eating out with his "best bud" Tony, listening to music, and Florida Gators Football. His most outstanding trait was his big heart and he loved everyone, stranger or not. He was predeceased by his grandparents Harold and Dorothy Robinson and Kenneth and Gertrude Boyer. He leaves behind his parents, brother Bryan, nephew Steven Boyer, niece Cheyenne Hurst Boyer, great nephew Wyatt Maverick Boyer. Aunts Sandra Reuter, Patricia Fredlock, Staria Boyer and Margaret Boyer and Uncles Timothy and Kenneth Boyer. Close friends George and Garett, and many cousins including Spunky Gray and Barb Tyler of Oregon. Also, his "fur baby" Beauty. He had a sparkling personality and loved his family. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, 1123 W. Main St, Leesburg, FL 34748 with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Lone Oak Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Leesburg, Florida.
