Marilyn Gay Mullis

Marilyn Gay Mullis, 87, of Fruitland Park, Florida passed away on February 22, 2026. She was born on September 26, 1938 to Willis & Altha Chance in Elizabeth, Louisiana and later moved to Fruitland Park, Florida in May of 2012. She was a retired Professor at Loral Douglas Woosley Bethany College in the Philippines. Marilyn loved to read, sing and the color pink.

She is survived by 2 sons, Allan (Valerie) Woosley of Dandridge, TN, David (Stefanie) Woosley of Chattanooga, TN, daughter Amy (Jeff) Mach of Fruitland Park, FL, 2 stepsons Robert (Bob) Mullis of West Palm Beach, FL, Jeffrey (Scott) Mullis of Ayden, NC, sister Nelda Carole Ezernack of Willis, TX, and 10 grandchildren Bobby Woosley, Chance Woosley, Brogan Herdklotz, Grant Woosley, Grace Woosley, Robby Mullis, Jennifer Mullis, Jeffrey Mullis, Jared Mullis and Julia Mullis.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Robert A. Mullis.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, 10:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 3740 Eagles Nest Rd, Fruitland Park, FL 34731. Interment to follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Fruitland Park, Florida.
