So sad to hear of Bruce's passing. We were 1957 graduates of Waynesville High School. It has been a pleasure seeing him at reunions over the past 60 years. He was a special man in so many ways. May the Lord bless you and keep you and give you peace. Glenda Eavenson Stokes, Greer SC

I had the good fortune to have worked with and around Bruce during my career as a service contractor at NASA. He was a easygoing, kind, compassionate, wonderful man and a joy to work with.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God comfort you during this time of loss.

Bruce and I were members of the Waynesville NC High School band and went on to the Navy School of Music becoming musicians in the Navy. Bruce and Betsy became great friends for many years. I will deeply miss Bruce´s friendship. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family for their loss.

I got to know Bruce when he worked for the Air Force, was surprised when he came to N.A.S.A. worked very close with him while there. He is without a doubt one of the nice's persons I have ever been around. Talking with him ,found out that our roots go back to the same area of N.C. That would be Fines Creek, only I was from upper and he was from lower. Bruce and I worked on many projects and it was a pleasure to be him. I haven't seen him since I retired in 2005. My heart goes out to the family but we know he is now in a special place, mwy god bless the family and I know he will be missed deeply. Billy W. Beasley Sr.
