Glenn A. Clark, a dedicated educator and beloved family man, passed away on January 6, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on January 26, 1930, in Gracemont, Oklahoma. Glenn lived a life marked by service—to his country, community, church, and family.

Glenn proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War from June 1951 to May 1953. After his military service, he pursued a career in education, obtaining a master’s degree from Oklahoma State University. He began teaching in Pawnee, Oklahoma, from 1955 to 1959, where he met his future wife, Frances Arlene (May) Clark. They married on August 7, 1959, and moved to Wichita, Kansas, that same year.

In Wichita, Glenn devoted over three decades to shaping young minds as a teacher at Southeast High School with Wichita Public Schools until his retirement in 1991.

After retirement, Glenn and Arlene shared a strong and loving life. Together, they served in their church, traveled the world on cruises, enjoyed the mountains of Colorado in the summers and the deserts of southern Arizona to escape the harsh Midwest winters. They always returned to Kansas by spring to plant and tend to their garden. Many enjoyed the bounty of his harvest, especially the tomatoes.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Frances Arlene Clark; three children, Van Clark, Lisa (Mark) Neas, and Bruce (Jamie) Clark, all of Wichita; six grandchildren—Melissa (Daniel) Macy, Kristi (Michael) Raehpour, David (fiancé Ticie) Neas, Timothy (Lindsay) Clark, Jonathan (Allee) Clark, and Benjamin Clark; and five great-grandchildren—Ryker Clark, Cody Clark, Tyberius Macy, Kyler Clark, Zachary Clark, Evelyn Macy, and Nataly Clark.

Glenn’s faith was central to his life. He was a longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where he served in many roles including Chairman of Deacons, 8th grade and early childhood teacher. For years, he lovingly cared for children aged 18 months to two years, always focused on sharing and demonstrating God’s love.

Viewing will be Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Broadway Mortuary. His funeral service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 10:30 AM. He will be laid to rest privately at Anadarko Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Glenn’s legacy is one of dedication, kindness, and steadfast devotion to sharing the love of his Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Memorial contributions can be made to Gideons International. Services by Cozine Memorial Group-Broadway Mortuary.
