Alan Crowder, 64, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly in Verona, Kentucky on January 18, 2026. He was born March 17, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Leonard and the late Frances ( ) Lashley. He married Lisa Fleming on July 9, 2020, and she survives.
Alan was a hard worker who held a variety of jobs. Most recently, he was a truck driver for C-Jams of Sellersburg, Indiana. He raced stock cars when he was younger and had a passion for deer hunting. Alan also loved to fish. He is remembered as a big hearted, loving husband, father, and Pap, which he was affectionately called by his grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish Alan’s memory are his wife, Lisa (Fleming) Crowder; his father, Leonard Crowder; daughter, Lenora Bishop; step-children, Noah Crace, Shana Lanham, Matthew (Ashley) Crace, and Angela Price; grandchildren, Zachary Bishop and Jackson Bishop; step-grandchildren, Noah Crace, Christian Crace, Preston Lanham, Jesse Crace, Athena Duratovic, Madison Crace, and Blake Price; brothers, Wayne Crowder and Dale Crowder; and sisters, Lisa Crowder, Paula Crowder, and Cheryl Crowder. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances ( ) Lashley.
Alan’s family has chosen cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Hughes-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. are honored to serve the Crowder family at this difficult time.
