Alan Jeffrey Duncan, 58, of Higginsville, Missouri passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at CenterPoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery, 2800 SW Walnut Street. Blue Springs, Missouri 64015. Memorials are suggested to Higginsville Habilitation Center. Memories of Alan and condolences for his family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page.

Alan was born on October 1, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri to Fields M. and Sara (Stewart) Duncan III. He brought joy and excitement to those around him with his passion for all things racing, from the high-speed thrills of NASCAR to the exhilarating atmosphere of Indy racing. His enthusiasm inspired many to share in the joy of the sport he adored. Alan's other passion was a delightful fondness for Dr. Pepper and french fries. The Duncan family would like to give a special thank you to Higginsville Rehabilitation Center and staff for caring for Alan for 43 years.

Alan is survived by his brother, James (Heather) Duncan of Blue Springs, MO

Alan was preceded in death by both his parents.
