Mr. Echols was owner and operator of Echols Tile and Marble Company. His hobbies included surfing, collecting coins, and riding his Harley. He was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by one son, Israel Alan Echols; two brothers, Ronald Echols and Todd Echols; and his father, mother, and stepfather, Jerry.
Mr. Echols is survived by two daughters, Jessica Echols Daniel of Florence, Alabama and Charlotte Echols Dishon and husband, Scott, of Florence, Alabama; two sisters, Linda Cook and Susan Kennedy of Melbourne, Florida; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog, Spot; and a lifetime of friends.
No services are planned.
