Alan Dale Gender

Alan Dale Gender, age 69, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Sparrow Carson City Hospital. He was born on March 17, 1953, in Greenville, Michigan, son of Dale Leroy and Barbara Jean (Bradley) Gender, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Greenville High School and worked for many years as a welder and machinist, retiring several years ago. Alan married Pamela Jean Brown on November 25th, 1989, and has enjoyed 33 years of marriage with her. Alan enjoyed bowling, golfing and shuffleboard through the years and was a member of the Moose Lodge for many years. Birdwatching while enjoying nature was always a favorite pastime of his as well.
Memories of Alan will be cherished by his dear wife, Pam, his children, Craig (Mackenzie) Gender, Traci (John) Boyce, Jerrad (Brandy) Gender, Melissa (Greg Childers) Reickman and Jennifer Kouba; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; a sister, Vicki (Doug) Hilderbrant; and several cousins and many good friends.
