He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Sharon Heiman nee Musial.
Caring uncle to Trevor and Kailey Heiman, Amy Walker nee Anderson, Ken Anderson and
Cyndi Lee nee Heiman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Claire Heiman, his sister Marlene
Anderson (Ken) nee Heiman and his brother, Gary Heiman.
Alan proudly served in the United States Army where he learned the importance of service
and commitment.
Alan was a simple, quiet man, always the gentleman and loyal friend. He was an avid fan of
the Chicago Cubs and Bears. Alan will be forever loved and deeply missed.

The Township of Schaumburg is terribly sorry to hear of the passing of Sergeant Alan John Heiman. Our Board of Elected Officials had the privilege of honoring him at our January Board Meeting for our Veteran's Honor Roll. We are forever thankful for his service and sacrifice and hope his legacy will continue with his loving family.
