Stephen Wayne Heiman

Stephen Wayne Heiman, 74, of Baytown, TX, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born on November 5, 1951, in Galveston, TX. Steve was the son of J. R. Heiman and Mildred Carithers. He spent his life known for his stubbornness, his mumbling, kind heart and soul, birthday texts, his faith, but most importantly, he always put his family first and foremost, every day of his life.

He proudly served his country in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1977.

Following his service for our country, he worked as a meat cutter for Kroger's and took great pride in getting the best cut of meat you could ever find. In his spare time, he spent it with his family and friends, and it was worth more than he ever made in his life. His family was everything.

He always enjoyed rolling his 14-pound bowling ball, trying to make a strike, watching his Astros, perfecting his two-stepping, but his passion was swinging a golf club on those perfect mornings when he actually found the green.

Stephen was preceded in death by his son, Samson R. Heiman. He is survived by his wife, Marianne, his kids: Renee Ambler and her husband Robert, Jimmy Beltram and his wife Nikki, Scott Beltram and his wife Cheri, Jennifer Coates and her husband Keven, Shannon Moyer and her husband Jason, Sabrina Linton and her husband Emken, Regina Rhodes and her husband David, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Friday (02/20) at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home located at 6123 Garth Road, Baytown, TX from 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (02/21), at Crespo & Jirrels at 10:00am, followed by a luncheon at Bayway Church Assembly of God located at 7815 Bayway Dr., Baytown, TX 77520.
