Alan Kloster Obituary
He was born April 16, 1957 in Freeport, IL to parents Duane and Patricia Kloster. He was a lifelong resident of Pecatonica and graduated from Pecatonica High School, class of 1976. He married his wife Cheryl Lund on June 1, 1985. Alan was an avid dart and softball player in his younger years. He enjoyed coaching his daughters' softball teams and he also enjoyed attending their volleyball and basketball games as they grew up. He enjoyed many years of love and friendship with his Forever Friends Card Club. He enjoyed camping and loved spending time with the Callahan Lake Crew. Alan was one of a kind and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl, daughters: Courtney (Nick) Beard and Keegan (Tyler) Adams, whom he was so proud of. His adored grandchildren Beckett and Tatum Beard; brother Brian Kloster; mother-in-law Barbara Lund; brother and sister-in-laws Craig and Carrie Lund, Jerry and Denise Lund; and Cindy Lund; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins that he loved. He is preceded in death by his parents Duane and Patricia Kloster, sister Laura Kloster, and father-in-law Robert Lund.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at McCorkle Funeral Home - Pecatonica Chapel, 203 West 5th Street Pecatonica, IL from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 in New Life Bible Church, 2285 N Hoisington Road, Pecatonica, IL with Pastor Tim Spickler officiating. Burial will be in Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery. A celebration of life luncheon will be held at the Legion Hall in Pecatonica, IL to follow.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

So Very sad to hear of Alans passing. I worked with Al a lot of years at Dean Foods. He will be missed by all that knew him.
