OBIT FOR: Alan Lee Leasure

Alan Lee Leasure, 78 of Zanesville passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at his residence with his loving family by his side.

He was born July 20, 1947, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late Harold "Hal" Ford Leasure and Bertie P. Knight Leasure.

Alan attended First Christian Church and started work at the Chariot Shop with his friend Roger Davis learning and mastering Auto Body. He later shared that knowledge teaching at the Vocational school. Following his years teaching he finished his education by getting his bachelor's degree at Ohio University, though he never lost his passion for classic cars. Along with his hobby of cars, he loved nothing more than spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lynne A. Davy Leasure, who he went to High School Prom with and married August 23, 1969 right after he returned from Military Service with the United States Air Force in Vietnam. Also surviving are his two sons, Scott Alan Leasure and Matthew Lee (Allie) Leasure; Granddaughters, Rylinn, Mattilyn, London and Annabelle.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1:30 PM with funeral service to follow. Funeral service to begin with Military Honors at 1:30 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Laureen Roe officiating.
