Alan P. Moss

Alan P. Moss, 91, of Conneaut Lake, died Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Rolling Fields.
He was born February 28, 1932, in Meadville, a son of Ralph S. and Marjorie Heberling Moss.
Alan was a graduate of the College of Wooster. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1955 to 1957. He was the owner and operator of the In Phase Store in the Downtown Mall and had also owned and operated Moss Brothers Lumber Company with his brothers.
Alan was a member and past president of the Conneaut Lake Area Historical Society and board member of the Lakeview Cemetery Association. He loved his Mopar cars, wine, and his house on the South Shore of Conneaut Lake. He was quite a unique individual, living alone most of his life. He also loved West Palm Beach, Florida and his family heritage. He even wrote a book on it called, Growing Along with Florida.
Alan was the youngest of three children to Ralph & Marjorie. He is survived by six nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers, Fred and Lee.
A memorial service will be held later this summer.
