Thomas J. Biernacki, age 84, of Conneaut Lake passed away Tuesday morning January 27, 2026, at UPMC Hamot.
He was born in Cussewago Township on August 11, 1941, the son of Stephen and Mary (Durasa) Biernacki.
Tom was a 1959 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and served his country in the United States Army from 1964-1965.
On November 8, 1975, Tom married the former Josephine Ann “JoAnn” Canella, she survives.
He was employed in the Maintenance Department at PPG for 35 years, retiring in 2004 he previously was a welder at Rogers Bros, Albion for 6 years.
He was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas in Conneaut Lake.
Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, yardwork, and especially enjoyed spending time with family.
In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Biernacki and his wife Karie of Jacksonville, FL, Stephen Biernacki and his wife Jenny of Pittsburgh, PA; a sister, Irene Shreve and her husband Ford of Springboro; a granddaughter, Blake Violet Biernacki; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Stanley Biernacki and Michael Biernacki.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED TO ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD, CONNNEAUT LAKE. Burial will be private in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville.
