Diana Marie Biernacki

Diana Marie (Smith) Biernacki, 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Garden City, KS surrounded by loved ones. She was born June 21, 1955, in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Bobby and Tresa (Hands) Smith. Diane was a lifelong resident of Garden City.
Diana and Greg owned and operated their company, BHS Pumping, for over 20 years, checking and servicing oil wells. She loved her time working at Dillons arranging flowers and working with the community. Her hobbies included fishing, horseshoes, anything outside, Genealogy, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and loved ones.
Survivors include 3 children, Sheri Biernacki of Overland Park, KS; Jason (Erin) Biernacki, of Garden City, KS; Justin (Lisa) Biernacki, of Holcomb, KS; 7 Grandchildren Emily (Jonathan) Hutchinson, Garden City, KS; Lindsay Biernacki, Garden City, KS; Gabriella Biernacki, Garden City, KS; Jayce Biernacki, Garden City, KS; Tatiana Matson, Holcomb, KS; Sebastion Biernacki, Chadron, NE; Mordecai Biernacki, OK; and 3 great grandchildren of Garden City. Diana is also survived by her 3 sisters Valerie (Smith) Lancaster, Lebanon, MO; Debbie (Smith) Long, Louisburg, KS; Tamara Smith, Ellsworth, KS; and brother Bobby Smith of Tx.
She was proceeded in death by her high school sweetheart, Gregory Biernacki and her parents Bob & Tresa (Hands) Smith.
