Obituary published on Legacy.com by John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. on Feb. 11, 2026.
Al Moses Nazon was born to Jeannie Nazaire and Pedro Nazon on March 1, 1978, in
Jacksonville, Florida. Al and his mother eventually relocated to Brooklyn, New York, when he was six months old. He attended P.S. 181 Elementary School in Brooklyn and later attended Beach Channel High School in Queens. Al loved science and music as he excelled in these classes. He also loved spending his free time playing basketball and experimenting with creating new beats. Although a naturally soft-spoken young man, he was beloved by his teachers and high school friends. His teachers regularly commented that Al was very respectful and his classmates appreciated his mellow demeanor. Upon graduating from high school, Al matriculated at Audrey Cohen City College of New York and earned a degree in Business Administration.
Al applied his natural networking talent to his professional career as a marketing professional. He was the architect behind the building of numerous companies and secured contracts throughout New York City. In the music world, Al was known as Big Vegaz. He was the man who developed, encouraged, promoted and supported the artists he worked with like no other. As the CEO of Clearvision Music and co-founder of Major League Hustlers, Al had an ear for music and an eye for talent, which made him a sought-after producer.
Everyone who met Al knew instantly that he was a kind soul. His concern for people was always genuine, as he always had a kind word or warm smile for everyone who crossed his path. Al was a true family man and a major connector who kept close ties with everyone. He even showed this compassion to animals as he fed his neighbor's abandoned cat every morning on his way to high school. To know Al was to love him. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved and adored his mother, Jeannie and always looked forward to eating the delicious Haitian meals that she made with love just for her baby boy. Even though Al had an expansive circle, his most precious relationships were with his sons, Justin and Chase. Al looked at Justin as his right-hand man. While Chase was his "button."
Al left a village of family and friends to cherish his memories. His love and smile will live on, especially through his children Jakai, Justin and Chase and his mother, Jeannie (Edgar).
