Alan Potts Obituary
Born in North Shields, England, Alan moved to the US when he was 15 to live with his sister Arlene and her family.
Alan worked for many years as an executive chef at Sodexo and enjoyed creating fine cuisine. He was an avid soccer fan and driving enthusiast. Always the gentleman, Alan would do anything for anyone who needed help and always put others' needs before his own.
Alan is predeceased by his mother Anne and his father William. He is survived by his sister Arlene Cotrona; nephews Ken Cotrona (Melissa) and John Cotrona (Cathy); niece Tracy Howson (Clint); and great nephews Zachary and Jacob Howson. He also leaves behind his significant other of 21 years, Deborah Rosa, as well as his good friend Dwight Fowler.
He will be deeply missed by his family and everyone who had the pleasure to witness his wonderful sense of humor.
The family would like to thank the staff at both Hartford Hospital and Davitas for their care and compassion for Alan.
