Alan Dale Roberson, 69, went to his heavenly home on September 19, 2025, passing at his residence in Boswell, Oklahoma, surrounded by his loving family.

Alan was born on July 19, 1956, in Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Louie Lee Roberson and Carrie Ruth (Phillips) Roberson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Wayne "Weiner" Roberson; sister-in-law, Glenda Roberson and nephew, Kevin Roberson.

Alan lived in Boswell his whole life and graduated from Boswell High School, Class of 1974. He worked for Campbell Soup in Paris, Texas, until his retirement after 39 years. Alan married the love of his life, Ella Lynn, on September 30, 1978 at Good Springs Presbyterian Church in Boswell and they spent 47 wonderful years together. He was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and was a co-pastor of Good Springs Presbyterian Church where he was a proud member for over 40 years. Alan had a deep love for the Lord; always making sure the doors were open at the church for anyone in need of guidance and wanted to learn the word of God.

Alan was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to go fishing, hunting, and camping. He also had a passion for sports; he played in many ASA games and was even inducted into the ASA Softball Hall of Fame in 2008. Alan also coached numerous softball and baseball teams throughout the years, teaching kids about the game he loved. He passed that passion on to his own children and grandchildren; he loved going to sporting events and watching them play ball, he traveled all over to watch and be their biggest supporter. Above all else, Alan loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them. Having cookouts, fish fries or just getting together after church where he could visit with them was something he truly enjoyed.

Alan is survived by his loving wife, Ella Roberson of the home; children; Brandi Murray and husband, Tom Ansley of Boswell, OK, Carrie Hartman and husband, Greg of Kingston, OK, Jessica Huffman and husband, Dewayne of Silo, OK and Rowdy and Savanna Roberson of the home; grandchildren, Paige Shults of Boswell, OK, Blake Shults of Boswell, OK, Tristen James and Daelyn of Caddo, OK, Garrett James and Alley of Caddo, OK, Daisy Huffman and Ruthie Huffman of Silo, OK; great grandchildren, Jayci, Jakus, Klancy, Klaycy, Kyler, Gunner, Lukus, Jaxon and Brynlee; brother, Randall "Dink" Roberson and wife, Kay of Boswell, OK and sisters, Carol Hunnicutt of Boswell, OK and Regina Roberson of Boswell, OK; along with a host of other family member, friends and loved ones.
