Alan Everett Sargent

Alan Everett Sargent, husband of Danice Sargent, passed away December 16, 2024.He was born in Concord New Hampshire on September 24, 1937, son of deceased William and Edna Sargent. He graduated from Hartford Public High School in the Class of 1956 and went on to work as a Butcher for the A&P for many years and eventually retired from Hartford Snack Distributors after 37 years. Al coached for several years for the Windsor Locks Little League and was very involved with the Windsor Locks Water Jet Swim Team, and the Capital Region Aquatic Club, with his children. An avid fan of the UConn Men and Womens Basketball Teams, Atlanta Braves and Kansa City Chiefs, he rarely missed a game when it was broadcast. He loved Golf and spending time with his Grandchildren, who will miss their Poppy greatly.He was predeceased by his Wife Danice (Colli) and survived by his children, Kimberly and David Franks of Madison CT, Mark and Elaine Sargent of Powhatan VA, Melissa and Brad Swartzwelder of Midlothian VA, Don and Rhonda Lownds of Tega Cay SC, David and Melinda Lownds of Lake Wylie SC, Debra Lownds and Deb Russell of Hooksett NH and Daniel and Christy Lownds of Trinity FL. His Grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Sargent, Makayla, Zachary and Gabriella Franks, Ava and Jack Swartzwelder, Kristin Lownds and Emily Lownds (Stolz), Jesse, Jeremy, Justin and Cory Lownds, Jennifer Martell, Garrett, Carson and Evan Lownds. And Greatgrandchildren Porter, Rynn and Summit Stolz.
