Alan "Stix" Schaller, 79, of Muscoda, passed away on October 9, 2025 at his home.
Stix was born on August 12, 1946 to Leo and Adah (Freng) Schaller of Bangor, WI. He was drafted into the United States Marines in 1964 and was a Private First Class (E-2) serving as a frontline communications specialist in Vietnam. He owned and operated Shillalah Trucking for many years.
Survivors include his children: Paul (Donna) Schaller, Jaysen (Sarah) Schaller, Alan "Bud" Schaller, and Kaitlin (Rocky Conley) Schaller. Grandchildren: Kelsie (Brandon) Giebel, Kurtis (Rylie) Schaller, Jayden (Nic Mathias) Schaller, Gage Schaller, Aydric Conley, Roderick Conley, and Kaivyon Conley. Great-grandchildren: Everleigh Giebel, Magnolia Giebel, Bodie Giebel, and one more on the way.
He is further survived by his brothers, Dennis (Virginia) Schaller, Duane (Dawn) Schaller, Scott (Helen) Schaller; and a sister, Joann (Scott) Schilling, sister-in-law Gena Schaller, mothers of his children: Terri Frappier and Jody Adams, mother-in-law, Joan Adams, along with many other relatives, nieces, and nephews.
Stix was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Leo 'Bud' Schaller, Ronald Schaller, and a sister; Karen Rhyme.
At his request, no services will be held. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with thier arrangements.
